Hi, I'm Mayank. I'm a software developer who started Toolkiya in 2026 out of frustration — every "free" online tool either demanded a signup, slapped a watermark on the output, uploaded files to unknown servers, or buried the actual feature behind a paywall. So I built one place that just works. No accounts. No uploads. No tricks. Today Toolkiya offers 96+ tools, all maintained by me personally.
Background & Expertise
I've been writing software professionally since 2017 — roughly nine years across full-stack web (Next.js, React, Node, TypeScript), mobile (React Native, Flutter), and the infrastructure that lives behind both (Postgres, Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare). Most of that work was in startups where I was the only engineer between a feature idea and a paying customer, which is the same shape Toolkiya is built in today.
Stack I work in daily
TypeScript, Next.js 16 App Router, React 19, Tailwind, Supabase, Vercel, WebAssembly modules (pdf-lib, browser-image-compression, tesseract.js), WebRTC for peer-to-peer, Web Crypto for cryptographic primitives.
What I've shipped before
Production web apps used by lakhs of people in India, internal admin tools, a Chrome extension on the public Web Store, and a couple of open-source contributions. Portfolio & case studies on vomayank.github.io.
Why I take privacy seriously
Two of my previous projects handled PII at scale (KYC photos, bank statements, identity proofs). Seeing how easily "temporary" uploads turn into permanent backups is what convinced me that browser-native is the right default for a public-facing tools site.
How to verify any of this

How We Sustain
Toolkiya is supported by non-intrusive advertisements. This keeps every tool completely free with no signup, no "premium" tier, and no "upgrade to remove watermark" nonsense. We never use deceptive ad placements, pop-unders, or dark patterns.
Open to Feedback
Toolkiya is actively maintained. Bug reports, feature requests, and tool suggestions are read personally by the founder and usually shipped within a week.
